Liveblogging Kathy Reichs

1351 (CST): I'm pleased to report that the plot has picked up. As has the Ro-mance sub-plot.

Just as well.

The plot in her books or in "Bones"? The first couple of episodes were a bit ehh, but they get better. Bloody end of season cliffhangers, have to wait for ages for next season.

I realised that after i commented. Hoped you wouldn't notice.
I have yet to read it. Reading 'Dead Du Jour' at the moment.
I liked "Cross Bones", though i did wonder why people would be so upset about finding Jeezbus's bones. 'Wouldn't that be a cool thing?' I thought until she patiently explained to the unreligious dumbies that it would screw up the whole 'rose from the dead' thing...ahhh made sense then.
I'm not very smart ;)

There's a whole interesting world of crime fiction out there, often addressing modern problems more effectively in fiction than the literary heavies. In fact, if I get a book by an author I've never heard of, if it's overseas crime then it has the biggest likelihood to be quality.
