Wednesday dinnerblogging

Because I can!

Tomatoes straight from the vine; basil straight from the pot; bocconcini straight from the water buffalo supermarket.

It's all right, I'll calm down about this camera in a minute.

Ooh, that looks yum!

I've recently bought a new phone which has a 2 megapixel camera in it.

I'd previously failed to see the fun in digital cameras, but having spent about half an hour on Xmas day taking photos of my family's cat...

And last night I was going for a walk and passing some new restaurants in my area, and thinking I should go there. Strangely it seemed entirely logical to think "perhaps I should photoblog restaurant meals in New Farm"...

This no doubt will evidently lead to the urgent need to purchase an actual digital camera (though my phone has a memory card which could store lots of photos and interface directly with my laptop).

Clive Hamilton will not be happy but I will be :)

It was yum.

I can see that the 'photoblog every move you make' impulse is going to need to be kept firmly down, but I did want to record the double triumphs of the tomato and the camera for posterity.

That's what flickr is for! Lots of pictures of your dinner and your cat!

Then everywhere you go without your camera you'll find something you want to snap.

Yum! Now I want tomato, bocconcini and basil salad. I'm so suggestible.

Just Flixr? No, I think that it is also what blogger is for. I may be alone, but I love a bit of food porn.

I must admit to having gone slightly overboard myself, of late, and our camera isn't new so I don't even have that excuse...

Sadly, the Internet hates me. Not only can I not comment on any Wordpress site, I cannot post to Sarsaparilla, and I cannot see your photos.

Oh why, cruel inter-tubes, have you cast me aside like this? *sobs*

As the world's worst photographer, I blow raspberries at your excellence.
