In Melbourne too. It seems to have scared my tradesman away. I've been waiting nearly a year for this fence to get fixed, and when the real estate agent finally sent someone, it rained. Tis the Lore of Tradespersons or something.

We had something like that too. but it's gone now. Got the farmers all excited though.
Freaky. Is it of alien origin, or a result of global warming somehow?
Something like that happened in Perth last month, just for a day. It was sort of like having the sprinklers on, but from higher up.
