More tennis-tragic blogging: Federer v Tipsarevic

Federer 6-7 (5-7) 7-6 (7-1) 5-7 6-1 10-8

So, was the Pavlov's Cat bunker barracking for the brown-haired sky-blue-clad soft-featured sweet-natured Swiss freak, or for the dark-haired black-clad Socrates-quoting Serbian bad-naughty-wrong underdog with the tatts?

You forgot to mention his fetching glasses.

I think he transcended his glasses, on the whole.

I assumed they were special tennis-playing glasses guaranteed not to carve his eyeballs into radish roses if he fell over, but I agree that they did not contribute to the look.

Actually, the glasses kind of grew on me (not literally obvs), and I think I even quite liked them by the end of it.

I really liked the glasses. I wasn't being ironic. How embarrassing.

Oh. Now I'm embarrassed.

Neutral on the glasses, really. I think on the one hand he looks pretty hawt in glasses qua glasses -- just probably not quite those glasses.
