I think one of the Channel 9 commentators described Michael Parkinson's wife as "Sir Lady Parkinson".

Pomgirl, that's why I listen to the ABC. They too are bad -- but they are less bad. And funnier.

I think one of the Channel 9 commentators described Michael Parkinson's wife as "Sir Lady Parkinson".

That was Mark Nicholas interviewing Parky during the Lunch Show - or the Luncheon Show, according to Bill Lawry - and he was joking about what to call Parky's wife after he'd asked Parky how he like to be addressed.
