In the meantime, "Iron Man" is worth checking out. Great interplay between Robert Downey jnr, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges. The FX are sweet, too. Make sure you watch until the very end.

Just to add some intertextual incentive for you to see it, there is a more than tenuous connection between Batman and Iron Man, in that both are archetypes of the noblesse oblige trope of the Hooded Hero genre pioneered by Baroness Orczy.
